The Bothell Landing is home to many historical buildings. Bothell is located northeast of the city of Seattle and on the eastside of Lake Washington. I love how these buildings resulted in a dramatic background for some of the photos below.
This particular cabin was the house of Andrew and Augusta Beckstrom with their 16 children. Their third child, John was born in this cabin and is the first recorded birth in Bothell.
The schoolhouse was built in 1885 but the opening was delayed until March 1886 due to weather conditions. It's typically a one room school for grades one to eight.
